Delete your KinStatus account
You can request deletion of your existing KinStatus account here. This works for every account, whether you sign in with email and password, Google or Apple. To protect your account, we first send a 6-digit code to the email address of your account.
Before you continue
- What is deleted: your account and your membership of every family. If nobody else is an active member of a family you own, that family's data is deleted too, including the protected person's check-in, status, location and phone-health data.
- Other family members: if other caregivers remain in a family you own, the family and its data stay with them, and ownership passes to the caregiver who has been a member of the family the longest. If no other caregiver can take over, we contact you before anything is deleted.
- Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Billing continues through Apple or Google until you cancel it. Manage Apple subscriptions · Request an Apple refund · Manage Google Play subscriptions
- If you use Sign in with Apple: after your account is deleted, you can also stop using Sign in with Apple for KinStatus in your Apple Account settings. How to do this
- Timing: your request is recorded immediately. We complete the deletion within 30 days and send a confirmation to the email address of your account.
- Kept records: some records are kept where the law requires or allows it, for example billing records.
